On April 16, 2005 the Durham Belt Line will have a public appearance along with the other two layouts owned and operated by the Pine Ridge Railroaders.

Celebrating Our 3rd Anniversary!!

The Durham Belt Line Modular Group turned 3 on January 5, 2005! To celebrate the event the website finally was completed and promoted on April 1, 2005. In March 2004, the Durham Belt Line made it first public appearance at the Toronto Train Show at the Congress center. As a group we were impressed at the attention our modules received.  Again, we were pleasantly surprised at the attention.

In 2005, the Belt Liners have three new members and four new modules under construction, including the first eight feet of Durham Yard. We are preparing to build our second 24" radius end loop as we have already outgrown the original 18" radius end loops. We are looking at displaying at the Toronto Show again this year as well as planning at least one other display. Watch this site for details.
